A safe break for participants and their carers
Respite Care
Respite Care provides short-term relief for primary caregivers while ensuring participants receive high-quality, nurturing support. Whether planned or in response to an emergency, our respite services give carers the opportunity to rest and recharge, knowing their loved one is in safe, caring hands. We offer in-home and centre-based respite options.

Government funded
Permanency Support Program (PSP)
Supporting children, young people, and families to build safe, stable, and loving homes.
The Permanency Support Program is a NSW and Victorian government-funded initiative that supports children and young people in out-of-home care to achieve permanency — whether through restoration with their family, guardianship, or adoption. POWA Care Connections delivers a range of PSP services with a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach.
PSP Service
Family Preservation
We work intensively with at-risk families to prevent children from entering out-of-home care. Our team provides parenting support, safety planning, practical assistance, and wraparound services to help families stay together safely.
