NDIS Information

Understanding the NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding and support to Australians with permanent and significant disability. We're here to help you navigate it with confidence.

The basics

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government initiative that provides funding directly to people with disability, giving them choice and control over the supports and services they receive.

Administered by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), the NDIS supports people under 65 who have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities.
